So me and my boy from work got bored so we decided to go test drive a car. So we went up to team ford on mansell. As soon as we walk in some little scrawny brotha is hounded us on what we were looking for. So i give him the usual bs, "just browsing, thanks". So he takes it upon himself to show us the lot. I find a lonely 05 GT sittin in the corner, 5spd. So he gets the keys and offers to go on a spin. Ok cool. So we hope in, and i pull off. Right out of the dealer i hit it just a little and im like :eek: shit is quick, and the sound is no less than harmonious. So hes telling me where to go, and im straight whompin on this thing....."WHEW!!!! Thanks for this ride man, even though ive almost pissed myself im having fun" he says. "oh ok so im not too rough"? i ask. "Naw you straight". So i bust a left onto this curvy road winding it all the way out. He grabs his knees and is breathing heavily, im just smiling. Get to the light, wait, bam GREEEN!!!! Perfect launch, chirp second, TCS is on wouldnt catch third, and 4th im shutting it down. I look over, and hes sunk in his seat clenching the door. We get back to the dealer and im like how long you been working here? "This is my first week" :lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao: :lmfao:

Haha, nice one man. Sounds almost like my experience with a 05 GT. When they first hit the lots last year, the dealership near me had only 1 GT in stock at the time, white with blue stripes. I went in and asked the guy if I could drive it, he went and asked his manager if they could take it out, so the dealer started off driving since they he took it outta the showroom. I'm expecting dude to take it easy since its the only one they had in at the time, he gets to the edge of the lot and its clear so he slams the shit and is hauling about 85-90 in a 40 :D :D I gotta agree with Mike that there's nothing like the sound of that engine, even with stock pipes. He pulls into an empty lot and we switched, I think I might have hit close to 100 in it on the way back to the dealer, all I could think was how good it would sound with headers and a nice exhaust on it. :goodjob: :D

I think my next "test drive" trips are gonna be a C6 vette and a SRT-10 Ram. :goodjob:

From what I've heard "most" v10's sound like shit lol... My old boss had a v10 think it was a dodge 3500? he put exhaust on it (not sure exactly what he did) but he said it ended up soundin' like 2 ricers were chasing him lol. Now a vette on the other hand.... those things can sound pretty bad ass once you put a nice cam in them.
