look kid, just cause you want a rare thing at a cheap price doesnt mean you will ever get it. it doesnt surprise me one bit you were born in 1991.

Doesn't mean I can't look now does it? Seems like no one can post a thread on here without having someone shoot them down. I'm looking for a car. A simple "Yeah I'll look around" or "They would definitely cost more" would have sufficed. You want to talk about age and yet you are the one with smart ass comments?

Sorry man. Couldn't part with my Stang for that cheap. It runs strong with a 427, manual transmission. Besides, its not for sale.

so you own a 67 mustang with a 427? and can only afford 1500$ for a car?

Sadly yes. I spent my savings on the Stang and work isn't going as well as I wished it would. I could sell the Mustang and have more money but I refuse to sell it.
Plus the $1500 was a rough number. I didn't know what a shell for this car would be worth, seeing as I've never found one.

age normally shows in maturity not lack of smart ass comments. my grandfather is in his 70's but he is still a smartass toward people when they say stupid shit.
if you asked my grandfather to find you a car that was never made in the states and never see for even $2000, you would most likely get a smartass comment from him.

Let me give you a round of applause for that. If I ever meet said grandfather I might keep that in mind. I'm looking for a car. Period. Either you can help me find one, or you don't. Its that simple.

Thank you. That's all I needed. I may be young but its a dream car. Yes I don't know much about them but I want one. You can't blame someone for trying.

so you have a 67 mustang with a bigblock 427 that i know the 427 alone is worth upwards of 10k and you only have 1500 to spend on a car? please post pics as well as motor pics! and is this really your car? not your fathers/grandfathers?

Yeah I bought the car when I was March of 2007. Had to put it in my dad's name until I turned 18 last March. I payed 12,500 for the motor and tranny which was a collaboration of personal savings and graduation money. So I mean it is my car but I didn't pay for the motor 100% on my own. I will definitely post motor pics because the car looks like crap XD motor is beautiful. I got lucky. No rust. Just dents and creases and the paint is far from perfect.

best bet is to do the mirage conversion.... it would be easier to do that with an AWD swap than to find an Evo II or III. If any Evo's were imported, you'll be finding V's and VI's. Not too much demand for the II and III's.
