hmm, hey kevin i dont think that theres any difference on the oil pan, are you sure it is? all ls oil pan's should be the same. also about the problem on the catalyc convertor vibration... i'm not sure what they did to it so i wouldn't know what to say lol. is the catalyc convetor hitting your oil pan by any chance?

if that's the case then yeah man, the exhaust down pipe is making ur oil pan hot. the exhaust down pipe can get pretty hot, i just hope nothing goes wrong with ur oil pan.

If your talking about the oil drain plug bolt is stripped, you should just be able to take it into a parts store and they can match you up with a slightly bigger one, that will tap the pan as you screw it in (can't remember what they called)

no its not the bolt i guess who ever did my last oil change overtightned it to much so maybe getting a bigger bolt might work

you can just drill the hole out and tap it again if it is stripped. You will have to see if there is enough material to do it without compromising the integrity of the metal.

Or damage the block by doing it... Also the oil pans are slightly different . And Sounds to me whom ever done your exhaust didnt do a good job
