Bow Content - Snake Content - PWNED!

I had this posted in the pictures section. Someone on here (will remain nameless) told me there is no way in hell I could shoot a snake through the head with a bow and arrow.

HERE IS YOUR PROOF FOCKER!


So this was on the opening day of Bow season this year. A buddy of mine and I were headed out from the stand and we took a break for a minute to check out some sign. He sat down on a log that had fallen and about 10 feet on the other side was this little guy. He immediately started rattlin. My buddy got up to slowly move away and the snake inched forward. I shot him through the back of the head from about 15 yards. He was coiled up at the time and when the arrow hit the snake arched back. It caused this really neat shot/picture oppurtunity. The snake was about 4.5 feet in length with 13 rattles and a button. I am 6' 5" tall so that should give you an idea of this beauty. I hope you all enjoy.

this was last year on he opening day of bow season for deer. he was coiled up and when i shot him he got stuck in this pose. it was pretty neat. my buddy the one who almost got bite took the snake to a taxidermist and requested it be mounted like this but it was going to cost to much. he ended up getting it skinned and just the skin mounted.
