We just finished this car yesterday.

It has an upgraded intercooler and custom piping that we made at our shop. It also has a custom exhaust that we made about 2 years ago. We tuned it today with an safc and ran 14 psi of boost on it with a greddy profec b. Here are the results.

nice work but are you not worried about that screw/bolt being so close to the sidewall of the tire?

Batlground
07-14-2009, 10:04 AM
That is on the body shop to fix that. I have dyno'd the car and it does not scrub. The wheel cambers in under that compression as well so it does clear. I would not have made the fender flares mount in that way tho.

If you don't mind me asking, what made y'all choose not to go with a oil catch can? I see that the vent from the valve cover is plumbed back in before the turbo, is there any reason you did that vs. running the common catch can setup? Doesn't any blow-by oil that gets in through the turbo lower the effective octane of the fuel?

thanks guys. Catch can was not wanted. I agree that it can cause a problem "polluting" the clean air. I also agree that maybe a different lass busy wheel would make a huge difference in the over all appearance of the car. there is NO2 ran but not functioning, as well as a really killer ICE system.

idk if its so much that the wheel is busy...but it just shows off alot of the under-carraige of the car. so it looks dirty. plus the flash from the camera shows off all the imperfections in the wheel. im sure it would look much better with natral sunlight on it

This is a customer car we are currently working on. Pretty bad ass set up that had been murdered by someone. Wiring nightmare has been remedied, as well as some mechanical and tuning problems. Precision 67mm DBB T3 turbo with front facing manifold. Hydra EMS. CCW 19's look killer in black with this colored body. Will have some more pics and numbers when finished.

I like it. Not digging the stripe on the side much but other than that, it's better looking than this whole "Clean" stock look most people on this sight jack off too. The paint under the hood is a bit much. The swap is gangster. It's good to see someone actually make a car look modified instead of just putting stocks on it and lowering it and calling it "Clean" Good stuff.

This set up was done for a 200sx that was having ignition problems at high (24+) boost. Running an AEM EMS, so this set up was fairly straight forward. I really like the way this turned out. Ultra clean and low profile. We also fabricated a 4" aluminum exhaust. No BS straight through no muffler. We made a 3" to 4" steel section and then band strapped the aluminum section. Almost exactly like our drift car.

Long time customer of ours has sadly wrecked his supra. He is such a good guy, swerved to miss an animal in the road, and sacrificed his car. Insurance is trying to rebuild/repair it so we took the engine out and sent it off to the frame shop. Hopefully all will be well and I can post the finished job after repairs.

Don't you guys have your sub-forum to post all your threads on? lol like are 12 threads necessary? We do and yes it is necessary. Maybe not 12, but at least the 2. Unfortunately, not enough people look in the sponsor sections to make it worth it to only post there. I spoke with them today about only posting it in the sponsor forum and ONE other relevant forum.

I find 12 threads annoying also (as a regular using member), but if we are to get the bank out of our buck (as a sponsor), we have to post at least ONE thread outside of our sub-forum.

Can't believe the GS is up for sale after all the work. Six speed swaps don't look good on these cars the center console is made for an auto(no jdm 5 or 6spd consoles). The graphics is a little to much, I haven't seen that car around Conyers/Covington area. Hit the stupid animal if he's small, a Yak you smack a tree.

Im sure BMW and Borla know what they are doing but that seems over engineered.
