There is a whole section devoted to EVENTS. You should check it out. Later, QD.

THANKS Guys!

Yeah... I picked up and forgot about it so it's considered a no call no show. Thus the week suspension.

It's like a built in vacation though!

WOOT!

I work at a restaurant in Buckhead. We're hiring but you have to have a minimum of 5 years of Fine Dining service experience to even get an interview. The place is NOT easy to get a job at.

What is with everybody wanting five years of experience. That how these companies get stuck with ppl that really don't want to work. All I need is a chance at a good paying job, but noooo.................. Do you have 8 years of experience sir? No. Well, you can't wipe table here. WTF.

Right now they're all doing it that way because they CAN. They've got the upper hand if they're actually hiring. I'll tell you what though... there are PLENTY of restaurants looking for people right now. The restaurant I work at is the kind of place where the experience is actually NEEDED in order to be able to function properly. Most places just do it to be picky.

If you've worked in the business before you should try Gordon Biersch (Buckhead NOT Midtown). They're about to open and I'm sure they have a full staff but when I opened the one in Va Beach half the staff was gone in a month because they couldn't handle it.
