Back when I was 16 (10 years ago) I had an automatic nissan altima. I couldn't drive a 5 speed at the time :( However, I had a friend which I looked up to, that had a 5 speed eclipse. We were on the way down to 5th Gear (Who Remebers that shop?)

Anyway..on the way there we're coasting on the highway and he throws it in neutral and revs his engine. I thought that was the coolest shit ever so i
P
R
N] Dropped my shit in neutral too and revved back :lmfao: :lmfao:

Later that day i called a service rep @ bill newton nissan and asked if it was safe to drop an auto in neutral and rev the engine while driving...he said he wouldn't recommend it. LoL I was displeased at his response. :lmfao:

Well, I did it around town anywayzz. Vroom VRoom VROOMMMMMMM! With my Tsudo Exhaust.

Tell the truth, you Riced at times, we're all in this together!!!

:lmfao: :lmfao: My first car did not have a man pedel either. But instead of reving up at people, I would park and leave it in "N" and pull up the parkin brake. So that peolpe would not see the reverse lights flash and know it was an auto.:lmfao: :lmfao:

my very first car was a STUDY on rice-ology. I had an '84 civic hatchback (the ugliest car on earth to start with) that was flat black, on painted stock alloy wheels, with a red neon behind the front grill, a 5" tach (on a stock engine) MOMO racing bucket seats, a big stereo that sounded ok but looked like SHIT, and a cut off muffler that was loud as all hell.

I miss that car, it was so fun to not give a shit.

My old car was an automatic that at the time was in need of a new carb. (it wasn't ricey, just setting it up for my ricey mentality)

Anyways, I had a friend riding shotgun and a bunch of people (some friends included) were hanging outside. The friend talked me into doing a burnout. I did and then right when I started moving forward I let off the gas. My finicky carburetor didn't like this so my car immediately stalled. At which point I wanted to restart my car and quickly get out of there, so without thinking I slammed it back into park...while still rolling forward. Clunk clunk clunk. Then I cranked it back up and drove off.

The car was completely fine, and I actually didn't hear anything about it later, but damn I felt like a dumbass/douche bag.

When I was 15, 8 years ago I stumbled upon aj-racing.. they were a spoon dealer. I fell in love with it. Even when "stock" cars were rice. always hated bodykits. Never had painted interior or none of that. and now I hate the monster JDM has grown into. My first car was a 91 DX hatch with a Z6 swap and Si wheels.

Dual exhaust on my 1st gen 4dr integra was definitely rice. Cat, resonator, & Ansa muffler with two tips. I was rocking a full roof rack in '97-98 WITH a full suspension bike and kayak though...$1,600 bike frame with a $3k car to carry it haha!

The riciest thing I did on the Z32 was unbolt the stock mufflers so the inside nut was on the outside hole giving straight pipes right at the rear axle. Looked completely factory but everybody said it sounded like a V8 with flowmasters lol.

Disclaimer: Not my car, that thing needs to be scrubbed and cleaned, and painted underneath

It's the equivalent to having a cut-out but takes a few minutes to do the first few times. With a ratcheting box-end wrench and a rag I could do it in seconds.

I had a '00 Galant, only lowered the front, had enough stereo to tuck the back tires. This was after I squished all of the fluid out of the shocks in my previous vehicle, Blazer, and had to have Z71 shocks put in to counteract the ~600 lbs. of stereo in the back.
I don't think I did anything too ricey, unless you count neon string in the shape of a Mitsubishi emblem, strobes, and a ton of neon lights (literally about ten of them, green and blue).

Worst thing I did was with my 90 Accord. It was back when Nopi was the shit and was handing out stickers like crazy. I already had 2 white Nopi stickers on my windows. Then took the outline from 1 of the sticker and stuck it to the side of my doors. Then painted the inside of the outline yellow. So I had 2 yellow Nopi spray painted on my door. Not too mention my chrome hubcaps. LOL

My first car was a 92 Geo Storm with a Pyramid 800watt amp pushing 2 12" JL W3's. I did the whole GSi swap though. Looked 100% stock. But I drove it with no cats for a long time reving at people. It started overheating a lot.. so I bought the 88 Rx7. I didn't mess with it at all. Put a VT 12" in the back and had a Sony Xplod cd player. Before all this MP3 player bullshit come out. lol

Some of you all are pitiful, I was never into the rice BS, only ricey thing I wanted was a body kit for a CRX when I was younger and wanted a CRX. I never liked the whole neons, NOS, and all that BS stuff.

I went to the first F&F TO make fun of it.ignorance is bliss.

:lmfao: I've done that before too when I had my 97 4 door accord!! I thought I was the sh*t then!!
I also used to put these decals all over my car, literally!!
Picture this: blue 4 door 97 accord, sittin on stock wheels w/ the hubcaps removed, aluminum wing, blue hood lights(that went where the wiper nozzles were), altezza tails(euro's) and some bullsh*t side markers that didn't work!!! I love my accords but man was I retarded-lookin back then!

*edit*: Im glad I matured and took notes.

Ha this post brings back old memories. I had a 01 eclipse with full body kit. It had 18" konig imagines. It was auto with the sportstronic shifter. i used to redline the piss out of it let off and then bump the next gear so t sounded like it was a 5 speed. My burnouts involved me pulling up to the speed bumbs at my school and letting the rear tires bumb up to them and then pulling up the ebrake. Then rev it up and netural drop it from redline. yeah not a good idea. tranny mainshaft finally broke after many times of doing this. Ill have to try to find some pictures

Rice isn't just cars, here's an '07 thread I ran into...
http://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/630386-how-to-make-turbo-louder-air-intake-exhaust-what.html

"...there is nothing wrong with it. I'm simple asking how do you make it so my truck's "whistle" sound is louder."

"Thats what i'm talking about! I want the turbo "whistle" sound to just scream. I've heard a guys truck that was a '06 and even at low rpm's it was just crazy loud..."

Back in 02-03 when I was still in HS I bought a universal muffler from Arospeed & had it welded to my mom's 1990 Maxima; also bought a filter with a MAF adapter & bolted that up also. Of course I revved it in Park or Neutral; it actually sounded pretty mean! Even bought a couple pulsating neons for the inside that plugs into the cigarette lighter! Now this was not even my car, I only drove it sometimes on the weekend.

Then on my car I first put 17s on it which TRUE, 205/40/17 tires were not the cheapest. Kuhmo was the way to go on a low budget. I had some white double edge wiper blades too. I still have em in my garage if someone wants them hehe.

Thinking back is so embarrassing LOL !

ZEX is the WORST Nitrous system on planet Earth. My 50 shot put only 21 to the wheels, 75 shot added 47. How do I know? My car was strapped to the dyno before, during and after I put it in. Later the "brain" shorted out... ZEX did send me a new one no questions asked... Which later burst into flames.:lmfao:

I ripped it out and replaced it with a NOS system, although I didn't get two of the big ones... and I didn't need them by that night.:(
