i went to the rim store here on my island to look into buying some rims for my car. i have a 2004 chevy malibu now when i got there i told the guy i would like some 20inch rims he kept telling me about 18inch rims. i really thinks 18 would look way to small on a car like that was saying that the 20 would cause my transmission to act up is there any truth to that at all. thanks IA for ur answers and is it just be tripping or would the 18 look ok

the bigger the wheel more problems that go along with it. transmission, engine, brakes suspension all take major hits over time.

I wouldn't put anything on it but if I had to I'd go smaller than 20's.

depends on what the wheels look like would depend on how they look on your car. but i say 18's and a little drop.
