Direct TV-247-P'tree tv-Family guy-2 hours of it.

You must have basic cable. I had about 200+ channels without his ugly face plastered on the screen.

I didn't watch it. Was he a great performer and groundbreaker for a lot of milestones, yes? Did he impact my life? Not so much. I'm 21, so I guess he wasn't so much of huge part of my generation as he was my parents. To be quite honest, I am fairly tired of hearing about it. Not to be insensitive to the situation for his family and friends (because I understand that this has affected them tremendously), but I believe this nation has a myriad of other things that are far more important which we should be focusing our attention on at this point.

I did see that clip replayed on the news this morning. I don't necessarily think it was fake, but I do think that at this point, the media needs to leave it all alone for the sake of the children. Constantly reminded and reemed with endless media coverage of their father's death is not lending to their ability to mourn and continue on with their lives.

Kelly
07-08-2009, 08:51 AM
Yeah, that's not gonna happen

Princess12
07-08-2009, 08:54 AM
Yeah, that's not gonna happen

Oh, I know it's not going to happen. Not a chance. If his family wanted it to happen, then there would be a better probability. They aren't helping with the constant publication of it all. The media will always be nosey... it's their job. Can't blame them for it.

Yeah... a $24 billion budget deficit in CA already with LA facing $530 million debt as well. They do intend to recap the upped security costs through donations, but this man had plenty of money from my understanding. His family is not hurting either.

Yesterday would have been the day to commit a crime.

I watched it, was working and had it on,.. it was a good memorial.. MJ did affect my life, im almost 30 adn grew up in a skating rink.. so there was not a week(day) that went by without me hearing a Mike jackson song..

I Love his music, think he did great things for the world, but made a few bad decisions in his life.. he was watched by everyone, and i dont think he was ever truley happy and at peace.. hopefully now he is..

if he did bad things in his life, so be it.. he was aqquited of all charges, and i would be damned if i ever took money to keep quiet from someone that really molested my child....

I didn't watch it, but it was on a radio station on my way to school so i quickly changed it. And one of the major movie theaters here had it on the big screen for people to come by and watch it.

Yes I did miss that. I remember there being a controversy a while back concerning his debt and estate including Neverland, but I was under the impression that he also posessed over $1 billion worth of assets capable of clearing his debt, which was why he was able to keep Neverland when his finances were in question. Maybe I'm wrong, but that was just the impression I was under.

happens easily when:

1) you have to make legal settlements
2) you ain't put out a GOOD record for well over a decade
3) when you don't tour that much
4) when you make back business/investing decisions

time mag had a serious article about how he came to be in the hole he was. must suck to be the creditors cuz they ain't prolly gonna get shit back (supposedly this tour he was goin on could have net him upwards of $500 mil, but cest la vie).

Aye yo Paul, It's Em
I got your call about the Michael Jackson thing
And I know that he's not 'thrilled' about the video
What does he 'wanna be startin' somethin'?'
Well I'll show him who's really 'bad' (Burp noise)
Paul, 'the way you make me feel' with these calls
You should really take a look at the 'man in the mirror'
And tell him to 'beat it' because I 'won't stop till I get enough'
Do you 'remember the time' we were watching the 'Billy Jean' video?
Well he'll always be that Michael to me
And it doesn't matter if he's 'black or white'
Because I 'can't stop loving him' and I hate plastic surgeons
And I hope they all fucking die!
How do you like that?
And I like him, I like him a lot
I want to touch him but I can't

:lmao:
