Well im not boosted but i know alot of the boosted ppl would know about safc's and what not.
Anyways, I have a SAFC installed on my 88 accord. Its obdo.
I have all the wires hooked up and the rpms do not read correctly. It jumps constantly as well as readin 1 or 2k rpms high.
Example, at idle(1100rpms) the SAFC reads 28xx-35xxrpms but it jumps all in between those rumbers. I have the Green wire on the safc hooked directly to the - coil terminal. Any ideas on what could be the problem?

Ive experienced erratic rpm readings before with SAFC, and was able to resolve them by using an alternate grounding location for the safc itself.

Chris we both grounded ours off of the ecu like the manual said. We found out we can run the tach signal off of the TDC sensor so Im gonna try it at elast and see what happens.

No, im actually using one on my car too, its obd0 as well...
To the OP, i seriously doubt that the obd0 integra harness and obd0 prelude harness are anything alike, but i have mine attatched directly to the tach signal wire that's right next to the ecu plug.. never had a problem with mine.
