Picked it up a few weeks ago from a good friend of mine. Runs pretty good after its warmed up but thats just because its a carb'd car and it idling by itself cold doesn't work. lolol. But the exterior is in great condition besides the lip over the rear passenger side tire is alittle wack. Interior is not bad but not good. Tranny shifts like butta and its gets tha asian's.. HAHA. And a Weber carb is very near on the list.

Only have one pic for now because I'm a loser and haven't bought another camera yet.

http://c4.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/105/l_e20957d71a2848c681b8594796a44517.jpg

It doesn't have the HX's on it anymore and the front bumper was sanded down and recieved a nice flat black. You can notice the paint was really faded and chipping off. I also took off the ghetto ass exhaust/axle back that the previous owner did before my buddy had it. Fence post and wood screws do not go well for exhaust people!!! lolol.

I'm planning to keep this thread updated as I do stuff to it. I won't be doing much as its only a DD and I have other stuff to seriously invest money in. :ninja: But I will be doing minor things to spice it up. Me and a buddy have already lowered the front down about 1/2" but I'm gonna lower it on down to 0 fender gap front and rear. That will be next, then I plan to do a Boso exhaust, and maybe some factory fender mirrors if I can get my hands on some. After all that I will focus on the interior and maybe a set of +15 offset wheels. I also wanna do a front lip if anyone has any ideas. No HD garden lip shit though. Something like whats usally on the old school toyota's and celica's.

All comments welcome. Thanks IA. Enjoy.

I loved the car. It was the tradional gray color. I had 17" chrome 5-star rims on it...the 5 and 3-star wheels were big then. Throw in my first new system with 2 12" EFX subs with a Hifonics amp and Alpine cd player. I thought I was the shit, lol.

I'm actually trying to get a guy to trade me another BA lude for it now. LOLOL. I love this car but I'd much rather have another lude instead.

Thanks for the heads up, man. I will probably wind up keeping it but I really want another BA lude. If that falls through I'm more than sure I will have this for awhile until I get the INtegra running again.

Do you have a link? I couldn't find it. I searched 80' up to 85' and nothing.

If everyone goes again, I will. Its fixed now. I would have drove it last friday night but everyone was in such a rush to leave for the track. Plus, I have to get a run in with Louis.

Well I doubt I'd ever invest that much money in it. HAHA. I'm leaning more to the low offset set "Old School Toyota/Celica" look. I wanna drop it down, get better interior (Which I think I might be getting soon), and wheels. I already know what I'm doing with the exhaust. Just straight pipe w/1 reson. to a tip boso style. I want to do a dual tip though. Me and a good buddy of mine are gonna finish lowering it soon. Then eventually a Weber will be installed. A Weber seems to be the best "bang-for-your-buck" for these old cars.

FasTech
08-26-2009, 12:00 AM
Ok, well after awhile... I finally decided to snap some recent pic's. Not much has changed besides a few minor things. I STILL haven't got the interior switched out yet. But I should have the extra car at my house soon. Then I'll have it done in no time.

But along with the update:

Pic #1::.

http://c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/34/l_d6af546e4f5c47caa03b26e182f243ac.jpg ("]http://c4.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/6/l_62e201e478f94a8890e8a76f6d9d5c3b.jpg[/url]

I removed the ghetto passenger side mirror and I had to satin black the hood due to paint chipping in a few spots. I still have to wet sand it and re-spray it once or twice more. I also did the inner headlights with that staind glass stuff. If you notice from the pic in the OP, it didn't have the Honda symbol in the front and I put an extra one on I had sitting around. Made a BIG difference IMO. I'm still in the process of sanding the wheels down and painting them with a wheel paint that is pretty close to OEM as I could find (reason for hubcaps being off in the front). I also sparyed the side marker lights with that tint stuff. Not much more has been done.

Pic #2::.

[url=")

It had some of the lower dash piece's but they were falling off so I took them all off. Looks a mess, I know, but as soon as me and my buddy Joe get that other Accord over here to my place... It'll be tooken care of ASAP. And yes, those are white shag seat covers. LOL.

Pic #3::.

http://c4.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images02/13/l_59409ccfd6cc459ca4a13b4bbcb4789b.jpg ("")

And this is my other project that will soon be on the road. Nothing special at all. Just a GS integra with black interior conversion and its super clean. It was on bricks because I was draining the old gas out of it. Hope to have the motor and tranny in it within the next month. Found some wheels I'm trying to get for it already and the pinstriping is coming off as soon as I get it running and start worrin' about little details like that. (ABS, sunroof, & all power FTMFW).

Well, I'll update some more as soon as I get the interior in.

Yea... i just got bored with the tape. I kinda liked the yellow inner lights. The front just looks too plain without it. But I have to buy some new lights anyways. So, I'll compare them to see which I like better then.

Hopefully sometime soon. I've been so busy helping other people with their cars and all, just haven't found the time to do stuff to mine, except drive. Haha. But I just finished sanded down all the wheels. Bout to go paint them here in just a second. And I'm probably going to change the oil while I'm at it.

Fasttech just look for a cheap set of coilover sleeves, that way you can keep your stock springs. I picked up a set on here brand new for $20 for my track car. The set I got on my car were free. Just look around, you can make any set work, as long as both of the sleeves have holes big enough for the shock body.

Why would you cut them at all? Heating produces a much better ride quality, plus you can heat them while they are on the car. Takes about an hour and you're set. Later, QD.
