from the missus to get rid of the Honda and move on to something else if I want to. I've thought of it often about doing this and picking up a 70s Corolla or 510. So I'm in the thought processes of selling the Civic and looking for one of the above mentioned or trading it out for one of the above mentioned. Not sure yet, but am seriously thinking about it. Later, QD.

Don't sell the civic, QD. I'm telling you that it will be one of those things you will want to kick your own ass for down the road.

I know about the whole regret issue if I sell the car, but I've got to a good stepping point, but the thought just keeps pressing in my mind. This is my second one and I've never had an old Corolla or anything RWD for that matter.
I think I'm pretty set in wanting to get rid of the car. Lucky for me I have pictorial documentation of the car and it's "build" so that will be cool. Later, QD.

To me it seems like that car has lots of sentimental value and virtually no cost to keep (compared to newer cars). I say try and keep it and get you another project. It's only going to go up in value, even though it's far from original.

Hey, I love the car, don't get me wrong. I've only had it for 2 1/2 years, so it's not really sentimental. But it is in the sense that I have never, never been able to do this much work on a car as I have had done on this.
And I'm not sure what you meant by "far from original" as the ONLY thing not stock on the car is the ride height. Everything else is original Honda Civic. From the wheels to the fender mirrors and in between. Later, QD.
