any1 have a diy or any tips on how to remove b series tranny? Im switching mine for an ls. Info and pics would be good

pretty simple
7 17mm bolts
2 19mm off the rear T bracket
2 14m off starter
2 12mm bolt off the slave cylinder
disconnect the reverse harness
disconnect the vss harness
2 jack stands (use it to hold the longblock)
1 jack (use it to balance the tranny up & down 8D take off pass mount,

and then bammm :D

y switch to an ls what do u have now, and since your switching it might be better to just pull the motor out with the tranny more working room it you
got the right equipment.:2cents:

not really a honda tranny is so unbelievably easy to R&R its not even funny.

I do these in 20 mins start to taking it out and about the same going back.. I spend more time cleaning the new tranny and painting then doing the work...But hey that is why I get the big bucks



BTW someone forgot to tell you to disconnect the shift linkage, and take out the axles !

And the dust shield,and engine bracket from motor to tranny supports

And what about the ground?

I"m sorry bout that, i did 4get to tell'm to disconnect the shift linkage and knock out that one lockk tooth watever it's called 8D .. you never seem to dissappoint me Tech 8D
