i was racing but i talked with nick for a while we were pitted close by each other. i think that was phil2.3evo8 but i'm not positive cause i never saw him personally and incontt was taking the video :2cents:

i knew the only chance i had was to get out on him if i ran a good light :goodjob: got the tree covered well but when i went sideways any slim chance i had went right out the door :rolleyes:

did the math and if i would ran a bottom high 9 i still woulda gotten beat but we woulda crossed the line really close for the eye to make it look alot better for the vid and the crowd :cheers:

Nah it wasnt Phil's. Phil's has the jdm rear and the small lip spoiler on the trunk like Nick's. This one was silver as well but it had a wing on it, stock wheels, and an oem rear bumper. Just curious to see of the member is on this board because he ran a very good time too.

line was hooking good!!! but the right lane after turbodave's celicasupra took a dump it doosed the track pretty good so the 300' mark oout was pretty bad and that's unfortunately where i start laying down my power so sideways i go :rolleyes:

I talked to that guy a little bit, he was a good guy. He was trying to sort out his 35R set-up. I believe he lived near SDR.

That would be great to get back out there with you all again. I'm still trying to get that 9 on street tires (BFG DR's 18's). I have about had it though and the slicks are going on. I think you are right! We just need to get back out there, or at least I do. The weather has been aweful down here for racing.
I have been in Pa a couple times this past month and their track weather has been AWESOME! I'm close to shipping the bee up there for a while. Not to mention some up coming surgery it will be undergoing.:ninja:

Hey man AWD motorsports went 8.75 at 162 in their evo in over 100 degree weather! That was also on a 67mm turbo not a 42r. I'm sure with the slicks you could hit at least a 9.99. This is Josh btw :D

pretty much. I cant wait though bc the only excuses i have right now is my fuel rail is still ziptied on (holding 10psi) and i havent tuned it. No major issues and keeping my fingers crossed.

told you easy to do @ 9lbs not so easy at 28lbs. one wrong move and he doesnt lift quick enough. get it close here or on dyno, fine tune at the track imho....and jesse been thru enough motors/parts like we have to know this

wrong....my 9lbs is 780rwhp....your 28psi is how much? about the same.....not so easy at 9psi either....you just have to log...watch the wideband ....rinse and repeat.
