NEW YORK -- When the United Football League debuts in October, Michael Vick could be one of its players.
Michael Huyghue, the commissioner of the new four-team league, says the UFL is willing to give Vick a place to play -- provided there are no pending legal issues. His rights belong to the Orlando franchise.
Vick already has served an 18-month sentence in federal prison for his involvement in a dogfighting ring. He is under home confinement until July 20, after which the NFL is expected to announce whether the former Atlanta Falcons quarterback will be suspended.
Vick, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2001 draft, has not played football since the 2006 season.
Is anyone else considering Vick? JW. I had heard anything until now.

not a big surprise. The UFL will need a couple names to draw fans and Vick is a prime target.

Absolutely.
But unless the NFL doesn't re-instate him I don't see him going for the UFL. Could be wrong though, I'd like to see him play again regardless of where it may be.

he wont be back in the NFL midseason this year, I think he will be suspended for this season. He will be back in the NFL for next season though.
Lol, UFL. Flashbacks anyone?

I think that would be rediculous if roger doesnt reinstate vick this season. Either way vick will play for the NFL or UFL, vick is not even thirty yet, should have alot left in him.

Well he is back ladies and gents!!!! I wonder who will sign him?
I'm expecting the Raiders to go after him, hoping Tampa Bay would give him a chance.

I was thinking Oakland, too.

Oakland isn't really interested in him, mainly because they can't afford another QB. Put too much money into Jemarcus Russell. And even though they try to sign Vick. I doubt he will take the minimum $750,000 a year contract.
Theres couple teams i think that might take a hit on Vick. One would be seattle seahawks. Mainly because Coach Jim Mora, and with the Hassleback not doing as good as he use to, i could see a change there. Buffalo is another option, due to lack luster of a QB. My last option would be 49ers, no definitive QB there too.
