probly somewhere around $150....14 over isn't terrible, especially on the highway.

Better be glad it wasn't 20 over the speed limit. Then he would have really been fucked.

He/she can always just call the number on the ticket and see what the fine amount is. If there are add'l tickets on the record, be prepared to pay a premium for each one accumulated within the past two years.

Every county and city has different fines, instead of speculating just take the 30 seconds to call.

im not from your area so i don't know what kind of features you guys have and we do not have automated systems to tell us a fine, it happened on friday evening and hes from north carolina and didn't know. It doesn't matter anyways...just needed a guestimate to be prepared.

You can check the tickets online now. Just look up the probate court's website for the county the ticket was issued in, most of them have a link for online payment.

I was doing 52 over in Atlanta. :headslap: Court date is next month.

Be glad he only got 14 over. That's NOTHING.

Yea 14 over shudnt b much especialy cuz it was on the highway. My friend was stopd for 67 in a 40 and his fine was only 170, surprisingly low for it being cobb county, but then again it was on a raod not the highway.

ohh, just realized it's 14 over. It's a non-moving violation then and technically doesn't go on your record.

I've never had one by GSP, just a warning, but it seems like i've had a ticket by every other jurisdiction.

If you call the court on the back and they say its not on file yet (which they will, they love to make you call back), ask them for a rough estimate. They'll oblige.
