i know i haven't been here in awhile but i just found out today that my mom has colon cancer. she went in today to get her appendix removed and they found some cancerous tumors. we don't know what stage yet, we will find out more when the biopsy comes back. please keep her in your prayers and thoughts.

I will pray for your mother, I hope everything works out. My grandfather has been diagnosed for brain tumor a couple of weeks ago, but doctors told us he only has about 2 weeks or 2 months left.

her doctor wants everyone to come in monday so we can sit down and talk, then tuesday she is going for a colonoscopy then wednesday they are removing a portion of her colon.

i don't know the exact details but i'll find that out monday (hopefully her biopsy will be back by then)
