Midnight Cruise- Illest of ATL- Video

Private invitation only cruise for Illest rides of ATL. We had one in January and it was nothing but jaw drop worthy so it's time to do it again. Idea is to compile a sick footage (pix/video) of Atlanta's finest and have fun at the same time. It's time to show some class and show off our assets :goodjob:.

If your ride is one of the Illest of ATL, post up and invite will be sent to you. You know who are you are. (I am still mapping the routes so don't get angry if you don't see a PM right away or soon, just post in thread).

Needing convertibles for photographers- S2k/Miatas/etc.



Ladies and Gentlemen, cruise is for the elitists and now has a set dress code:

Khakis/Pants & Button down. If you'd wear it sipping tea at the polo game, its acceptable.

We are here to set us apart so lets do it in fashion and properly.

I would also like to be able to do some rolling shots and shooting at the meet. With that said, I would like to recommend the event starts around 7, 7:30 or 8 for the first driving parts. Rolling shots are awesome but if it is dark and in tunnels they are never as good. It can certainly last till midnight so why not do some cruising, get some shorts around dusk. Go someone off the beaten path in some nice cars, grab some grub, and do some more cruising and let those that want to mess with shooting in the dark do their thing :)

Either way can I bring my ghey vert? I wanna be in the video and take some photos.

Good point Haltson, but it being a weekend and initial meet location will be same as last time....traffic won't spare us at all (later it is more room we'll have and less attention). I don't know if everyone will stick around for 4hours+. Separate shoot for some cars is not the goal here. I know what you are saying from photographers point of view, but don't know if it will be good idea to separate groups. I will be nice to have everyone stick around the same time, and have colossal cruise. Something for daytime is already in works in upcoming months with totally different setting.

DinanM3ATL- the ISO in that night shot was really high, that's why the shot was so noisy. I'm definitely not a great photographer yet, so take my opinion with a grain of salt, but some of these guys can take some amazing night shots.

I see what you're asking. I think the idea is to get together cars that have at least something about them that really sets them above and beyond the normal enthusiast's car. For example, you're right your car has fairly common wheels on a fairly common car, but because you have retarded amounts of power, it is one of the "illest". Some other cars that are coming, on the other hand, don't have nearly the speed of your car, but have more unique aesthetics that set them apart, thus they are ALSO the "illest".


The guy that has the civic with a B16, rota's, and a JDM lip kit, no matter how nicely done the car is, it is still a pretty damn common occurence, therefore while pretty cool, probably not one of the "illest"

97 - 98 brake light conversion - includes wiring mod for proper OE functionality, third brake light etc.
Motor pulled for complete seals and hose restoration - out with the old and crusty and new factory replacements installed. I.E. turbo hoses, ignition coils, tons of gaskets, main seals, the dreaded valve seals....Repair engine harness with new factory connectors - heat damages alot over time.
factory headlights repolished - torn apart and repolished, use an oven LOL.
bolt ons - Intake, downpipe, HKS drager
Greddy Profec B boost controller - interesting little gadget, got from Boost Solution owner George, very unprofessional how his facility shut down.
HKS FCD - for higher boost when using factory ECU
Map ECU 1 - sold, MAP ECU 2 came out,
Sparco Harness - tighten it up, but sold it
Sparco Torinos - pretty kool seats, but sold them too

Auto to 6 speed conversion - remove auto tunnel and weld up factory 6 speed tunnel with rubber undercoating and top side factory red paint to match. Six speed drive train. Intriguing swap...lol.
Tan to black - complete interior conversion from tan to black, all plastic trim, leather etc...neat little conversion also.
Reupholstered front and rear seats from tan to black - new is hot. Leather gets crusty after many years. New foam seat insert from factory. Surprised this is even available....Go hog rings... :D
Dash trim rejuvanated - stuff scratched from previous owners repainted factory color...great execution and not ricey b/c it's real paint..lol.
Repaint exterior plastic trim - some were very faded
Very good motor overall...other mods pending...just whenever. :goodjob:

hmm looks pretty bad ass...well my sig isnt updated but ill pm who i need to pics or post them on here once i get a camera...(broke mine) but the update on the car is full nismo v2 kit, front bumper has carbon fiber canards now, v2 wing has carbon fiber center blade, only downs i guess got 2 small holes in rear hatch where old wing was, and a deer kicked the bottom of front bumper no real damage just cracked paint, this should be fixed however depending on the date this is so i guess let me know if you would even consider my car and ill get you and updated pic asap
