The driving was fun. Fun meeting old friends and nice to see new faces. I enjoyed myself most of the time. Just did not enjoy waiting at stop 1 forever and then setup a mobile studio...

I will come to the next one. Hopefully it is a day shoot and I will pwnzor on the rolling shots!

i was recording both videos...and i didnt see any of the bmws, except for the blue wagon.. :cry:, on the hwy...I really hate i missed alot of cars on the hwy... Alot of cars i missed out on. i saw the black bmw doing mach5 on 285 tho...but missed it with the camera... :lmfao:

Do you know how hard it is to plan a GOOD, solid meet, especially with luxury vehicles or sports cars and possible exotics. I know with first hand experience as yall know and its TOUGH TOUGH TOUGH. Its one thing to get some Civics or Mustangs out (a baby can do it) and its a whole different league to get luxury car owners and sports car owners out.

I commend the O.P for going through with it and it seems he tried to do it all himself, which is a tough feat. I'm sure it will evolve and he's learning what to do and what not to do.

To me if the outside is clean, then the next stop is the whole drivertrain/powertrain. Hince why my car is clean as fuck, but has around 11-12k in the motor/drivetrain.

Theres probably $1500 in the tranny. Rebuilt short block - $6500, full exhaust $1200. Ported intake manifold $1000 and then misc bolt on's. Would be just over 11k. But my route was mid 400's NA. only thing i am short of that goal is heads/cams/fuel system!

Also if you managed 600 at the crank with a termi swap into a mustang for 12k you would be a record holder. Even a Steg. 5 eaton could not obtain those numbers!

Sunny set up the event, so he should be the one deciding. Is that too hard to understand? When you setup an event, you can decide what you want there.


Not everyone that had nice cars could show up for this event, but that does not mean that he will not hold more and edit all of the filming together. I personally could not make it with my bike, due to family obligations. Since I could not, a couple of others that I would have normally brought, weren't going to go. I still got 3 of my friends to show up - the black 911, the yellow 911, and the white BMW. Does that mean that Sunny failed? Of course not, he can only issue invites, that doesn't mean that the invited will show.

See your right and wrong. I could have bought a used shortblock for $2500 made zero power increase and put a eaton swap on the car and did a safe tune for around 440-450rwhp. But not had a transmission to back the power. But the set up I have now is on a pretty crappy tune. Some of the guys at MPH think there is power still hiding in the tune. But yes a 100 shot would put it well into the 400 range!

Also that place I went to was the cheapest, MPH wanted $1400 more for the same build!

there is a drain at the bottom. where the tip is welded to the muffler, we didnt weld it up completley

We were following a C6Z and Lotus that came from the Varsity parking lot and apparently got off of the wrong exit and drove about an hour up and down some major road in a not so good part of town. Nothing like 2 Porsche's, 2 decked out boosted 350Z's and 2 decked out S2000's driving up and down that road. I am in for a daytime cruise next time, thanks Sunny for trying to wait on us and to everyone helping out the cruise.
