rev up's have 306hp? i thought it was just HRs.

afaik RevUp and HiRev are terms used to describe the same engine... this one lol. RevUp is the official name from Nissan, and this has been verified to be a RevUp block, which according to Nissan makes 306hp at the crank.

So what did this come out of? Just wondering. Been thinking about a VQ swap for my sentra. Lol. But I need FWD. I would need something out of an altima or a maxima.

Is this one of the oil consumption motors from Nissan/Infiniti? They had a recall on these motors. Burns 1qt of oil every 1000 miles.

HA!.. i have a Vq.. have not burned a drop.. i have over 100k on it

some of the motors do have burning oil issues, that i will agree with

I work at a dealership. I have pulled many motors out for the oil consumption problems that was covered under warranty. If this is one of those motors I would hate to see someone buy it and realize that it burns oil after installing it into the car. Anyways GLWS.

i was referring to HR as in the 07-08 dual intake motor. :taun: lol bumppp be a nice swap for a 240
