Good selection IMO

How so? He's undersized and won't be able to defend NBA PGs for shit. He's basically a more offensive minded Mike Bibby. I'd love to be proven wrong, but I just don't see it happening.

Look at where they were picking and look what they were able to pick up, good selection. A little small but good scorer. Will need work to be a true point.

I know very well what number pick they had, but that still doesn't negate the fact that Teague is just a more athletic version of Bibby. If they really wanted to stick with selecting a guard, I really think Toney Douglas would be a better option (and that says a lot coming from a Gators fan, lol). Sam Young or Dejaun Blair would've been good picks, too, IMO.

This move will not make up for the fact that the FUKD UP and passed on Chris Paul.

Very True...The Hawks suck at drafting players ( i know this thread was brought up the other day)...

2000-DeMarr Johnson SCRUB
2001-Pau Gasol Good NBA PLAYER Traded him
2002-no picks thank goodness, wouldve been a scrub
2003-Boris Diaw Quality player but Traded away
2004-Josh Childress Quality player but left to overseas, Josh Smith Great pick
2005-Marvin Williams- ok, but Chris Paul???
2006-Shelden Williams-major scrub traded away
2007-Al Horford..great pick, Acie Law another scrub
2008-no pick, wouldve screwed up
2009-jeff teague-too early
