I went today to recycle them near my house and they said they'll buy them to $2 a piece. I said " Well how about you keep them $2 and stick them up your ass." Then i left

Go to Blaze's in Gainesville Chris right now they pay the most around here.

EDIT: Also if you wait a while scrap metal will go up and they will be worth more. Some Bmw and mercedes ones sell for as much as $160+ when scrap metal is high, of course the reason is some contain platinum, palladium and rhodium.

The market for them is way down. I take about 15-20 to scrap a year and ones that used to pull $85-$100 now only pull half that.

Early 90 Chevrolets (basically all trucks, even S10's) brought HIGH dollar... Bobby's Recycling used to give $100+ a piece for them in decent shape... given they are HUGE.

I won't say what model(s) to keep people from going on a rampage ;)

The full size 454 Chevy's were bringing that, my uncles neighbor actually had 2 stolen out of the bed of his truck.

I wish metal was still bringing good money, I have 3 radiators, like 12 batteries, 2 cats, and a ton of copper and aluminum wire.
