so for about a month now ive been having strange electrical problems with my 98 prelude. I'll be driving down the road and all of the sudden all electrical current to my car will die. My radio dies, my headlights die, my gauges drop, you get the idea. Anyway, this happens on and off but up to ten times on any givin trip:thinking:.

It didnt bother me until today when my car locked me inside of it (refrain from laughing) and i couldnt pry the locks open manually. I then crawled out the trunk (ok, you can laugh now), unlocked the car with the key and the car started right up. I stopped the engine, and tried one more time. It wouldnt start this time. All my idiot lights and beeping came on, but the engine wont turn. Any idea what the problem is? Im thinkin starter or distributor.

thanks in advance

Sounds like a grounding issue. also check to see if your altenator is putting out enough current. If it isn't, you might be killing a cell in your battery.
