Almost brand new 40gb Playstation 3 really never used just sits and collects dust need to sale need the money comes with all the cables required to hook up and comes with Godfather game and Blue Ray Prom Night and two controllers. Works great no problems with it at all sorry about the pictures its not dusted off.

40gb are discontinued, they basically have a PS2 shoved inside of them.
they are 99.9% backwards compatible, the only game it doesn't play is mortal kombat something...


they go for $330-350 at gamestops/EB's if you can find them, before tax.

I'm 100% positive the 40gb ps3 isnt backwards compatible, it wont play any ps2 games. Only the 60gb and the older 80gb will play ps2 games.

yeah i just got and 80gb after my 60gb gave out on me. I LOVED PLAYING NEED FOR SPEED UNDERGROUND FOR THE DRAG BUT THE 80GB AND AFTER DON'T PLAY NFS UNDERGROUND...KINDA SUCKS...GREAT GAME! GLWS

but judging by your pictures it has 4 USB connections, so are you sure it isnt a 20gb or 60gb model?

gross. i posted that back in june before price drops.

but yes i was wrong the 40gb wasn't BC because they were later modeled.
i had it in my mindset that pre-80gb was bc.
