So, there is a new Imax opening up in Kennesaw on Barrett Pkwy!
Here is the Location:
Inside AMC Barrett Commons 24
If one of you all want to get together a meet, you can have it close to the Theater, and see Transformers or something in IMAX. FTW!!!:goodjob:
EDIT: There is a risk for theft. So, here are some other suggestions.
Kennesaw Bi-Weekly Sonic Meet
Stone Mountain Park Day Event/Caravan Down
Kennesaw State University Parking Garage Meet (Shaded from sun) This has been done before.
White Water Day Event
Andretti Day Event/Expensive but Worth it

Thats all I got for now.
*Yes I know some of these suggestions are not in Kennesaw, but expanding the options is probably the way to go.

dont get mad man its just hondas are so easy to steal and if you go to the section that is made for people rides that get stolen you'll see alot of it happeneds at the movies cause its so easy no one is paying attention but im down for going cause i drive a neon and no one wants a neon :lmfao:

I wasn't getting mad or anything. I would certainly want to go during the day. Even then, there is a high risk. I do have to admit, I was not thinking about the theft problem. But again, no one has to do anything! Just a suggestion. I for one am glad that I don't have to drive to the mall of GA for an Imax movie. :goodjob: I think they open this Imax tomorrow.

Sounds like a good idea. Sonic meet in Kennesaw. Lol at Megan Foxx.
But after reading some of the comments, would it still be pretty bad to leave cars out into the parkling lot of a movie theater during the day? I mean, it would be a 3 hourish movie. To hire security, what is it, $35 an hour? Something like that. So, if enough people would want to go to something like this, lets say just 20, it would be $105 for the security, or $5.25 per person if 20 people signed up. I don't know about you, but with a good car meet, and a good IMAX movie, besides the ticket price, an extra $5.25 would be pocket change!

just bc its not gwinenett doesnt mean no theft...i know at regal 16..my brothers car was broken into on 2 diffrent occasions a friend of mines civic was stolen...the walmart on bearett pkwy a guy on here IA or moe with the mustang his old car was stolen there...theres been many incidents of car problems here. maybe not as much to worry about as other areas but its definetly here too

Ask for Bob at the Baker Road Sonic. He is the owner/manager of that place. He often sponsors other car shows throughout the summer months.

theres usually a cop or 2 drivin around the amc24.. i remember always bein sketched out cuz i was doin stuff i wasnt supposed to be doin before seein a movie... so maybe our cars "during the day" wouldnt be a problem.. theft wise ?

Regardless, it would be nice if someone were to talk to the manager at this sonic. I can't do it. I live in Waleska AKA near Reinhardt College, so thats like 45 mins for me. I don't even know where this sonic is. Lol
But until Fall comes around, Barrett on Fridays and Saturdays won't be the same because of the July heat of the police. So, Sonic would be nice. A Bi weekly sonic meet in Kennesaw needs to be set up! Has anyone ever thought of having a meet near the KSU campus? Lots of parking there. The new KSU parking garage is open to guest. Heck, a meet there equals some shade. Just another idea. I was also thinking about some sort of Stone Mountain meet. Far, but a caravan would be fun. And there is always Andretti people:goodjob: That way, racing isn't illegal.lol Expensive, but worth it.

Weve met up at the ksu parking decks a couple times.. It wasnt a problem but im sure if there were alot of people a ksu cop would ride up there and ask questions..
As for a bi weekly sonic meet, thats a good idea.. Ill see if my brother will talk to bob and see whats up.. If we cant do it there, we could always go to extreme audio or whatever its called, right there on jiles, behind the 41 publix? We know the people that run that shop so im sure we could get permission...

i work tonight at 4 so if bob the manager at sonic is working ill swing by there and see whats up im sure he wont mind and i know people will be buying drinks who cant resist buying a sonic slush or shake when your there cmon haha :crazy:
ill post up after work or on break and say whats going on with it if he was there and we can get a date going and all...due know cant be stupid at sonic though leaving trash etc.:blah: everyone knows the drill :goodjob:

i dont know the exact address but exit 277 (acworth) off 75...then its literally maybe one mile off the exit not hard to find at all

bob wasnt there last night i talked to the assistant manager and she said he never cares if people hang out as long as stuff is being orderd ya know? so drinks here and there and stuff and i dont think he will mind and no stupid stuff going on...i work again today at 2 and hopefully he will be there and i can ask HIM what he thinks
ok cool and i agree no burn outs, racing , loud music, and put your trash in trash cans after all thats what they are made for plus help out and buy a little something i personally love sonic food so i will def. being food
