:lmfao: Ok, so while off school today, I wound up watching Cheaters. This is some hysterical shit, and I absolutely love how serious the host is about the whole thing. But then I got to thinking....

Cheaters suck, but isn't televising your personal shit also a major form of douchebaggery? :???:

Who is the real piece of shit here?

The Show is gay

IMO, if you're ( not you personally) not too keen on having your wrongdoings aired out in public, then perhaps you know you shouldn't be doing it in the first place...

I dunno dude... I think it's real. I bet they just don't show the ones where the person opts not to confront the cheater.

I'm sure that this isn't the case across the board however, some ppl don't have the means by which to hire a private detective to find out if their spouse/better half is defiling the relationship...and why shouldn't the cheater endure a little humiliation and exposure? The person being lied to and misled shouldn't suffer alone.

Well, not being a cheater myself... I don't have a dog in the fight. I've been cheated on, but never in that earth-shattering, life-altering way like in marriage or with kids or anything like that... so I guess I can't really know what it feels like...

In 2002, the Houston Press tracked down several individuals who said they were paid $400 per show by one of the detectives of the agency to act on the show, and were paid $50 per referral to refer other actors.[4] The show's private investigator denies that he staged anyone's scenario and further added that he does not need to do so based on the number of inquiries the agency receives.[5] The producers of Cheaters currently have a legal disclaimer at the end of each episode, reiterating the reality of the show.

I have to admit that I'm not a fan of the host...but I can't decide who is worse....Joey Greco (sp?) or the original host.....

I wouldn't be surprise if it's staged...
I mean reality tv is not so real anymore so it would stand to reason that this shit is about as real as The Hills.

To have investigators do what they do is EXPENSIVE. You get it for free if you're on the show. If your heart (and future) was on the line, why not? Fuck what everybody else thinks and if you're seen all over the nation. Its about YOU. I'd do it. Airing my drama for the nation to see (which they will forget a week after watching) is a small price to pay for free legal investigations that may save me a lifetime of heartbreak.

Dude, you know that shit ain't free... you wind up getting some kind of I-9 form or something and you still have to pay taxes on the service as if it were income.

There's no such thing as free in this world.

If you're featured on the show, they take care of your "case".

And IF someone were sent an I-9 for it to pay taxes... that's still a small price to pay for the service received and the results achieved.

Either way, imo, it's worth it.

Reminds me of a more well played episode of Jerry Springer.

I think it is funny and I love watching cheating porn videos. It's sooo funny.
