You can turn them into the treasury dept. paint chips and all and they will give you good (non-painted) money. Same as you would do with a torn or written-on bill.:goodjob:

I think airline paint stripper would be a more effective way of getting the dollar bills off. Spray it, let it sit for a sec, remove dollars, wipe em off, done. Much faster and less noise than sanding. :ninja:

So he had over 9000 dollars just sitting in his clear coat? Thats just silly right there. I guess if you have it to throw away, literally. He would have been better off buying another car with 9 g's.

only a handful have been asked to take the logos off, but on the other hand, a few of them get payed to promote. A guy i worked with use to get his insurance payed, and 500 payed towards his car note. for having a foot locker theme on his tahoe.

We have a few guys around here that "claim" they are being paid to "promote" but I only know of one that auctualy has documentation to show he is. Its an "Apple Jacks" 95 Impala.

No1 is gonna pay some thug to "promote" their company in the fuckin' hood. LOL. The cars that get PAID to promote are wrapped, not painted. Also there are VERY strict rules... like car can't be over 2 years old - etc. (new beetles, mini coopers, scion XBs, etc). No1 is gonna pay a bubble caprice to promote BOA in a neighborhood where 1) there IS no BOA and 2) the people that live there can't get a bank account. Use your head people... it's a fad. Nothing more, I can't see any1 getting Royalties from General Mills for Apple Jacks logo.

When a sponsored car for a multi-million dollar company is done... it hits the show circuit - CES, SEMA, MAJOR events... not AutoZone local car show. Those cars are never driven by they owner --- those cars become slaves and per the contract have to make so many NATIONAL shows a year... the car lives in a trailer and is paraded around the country... often w/ the owner no where arounf. They are ALSO done by MAJOR designers/shops -- not "some1 you know around the corner".

I agree with what you are saying, No company that size will pay just anybody to promot their product. But the guy I was refering to retired his car back in 98 and it currently has a little over 3300 miles on it now. I know he went to a few FMF car shows and always brought home trophies. Dudes got an entire photo album full of pics from different events with different celebs and pics of him,his car,and his throphies at the events.

It's a pretty cool theme. He probably had the money to put 20s or 100s, but putting 1s makes sure no one will really try to steal those bills. Or maybe he didn't...
