So you used the rx8 not to just cruise in?

Cruising in an RX-8 = blown, not beating the shit out of a rotary engine = engine trouble.

G35's are nice, 6 speed?

Well when my 8 was still workin i would just take it out every weekend and just drive.. i sent the car to several shops around buford area and they kept tellin me "you just need a new starter and alternater". After all the confusion i decided to just send it to mazda and found out the engine was blown.. I had owned the car for 8 months and after it gave out on me i decided to go with a sports luxury and garage the 8 until i decide to fix it one day.. The g35 is automatic just because all the extra money i would probably want to spend on modding it up will go into my wallet for the 8 later on..

edit** and what above said is true.. not driving the sh*t out of an rx8 will result in engine failure later on down the road.. i bought the rx8 with 73k miles, wish i would have went with a lower milage one but i got the car for 5.5k so i didn't mind

I know people that are on their SECOND replacement engine.

73k mile RX8 for $5,500? That makes it tempting enough for an LSx swap :ninja:

nope. had a long discussion with the dealer and the result was negative so i didn't even want to deal with it so i just put the car away and got me this.. and as much as i drive, the rx8 wasn't the car i needed for driving to work and going out places but that was my mistake for even getting one instead of the rsx-s i wanted..

edit** i have had the thought upgrading the rx8's engine to a different engine later on .. would be nice, atm though im enjoying my new ride :D

well i told them that i sent the car to several shops before i sent it to them and the guy gave me a long paragraph of bs of why i shouldn't have done that and i asked him "so are you telling me your not going to fix it" and he said we need to run further diagnostics on why the motor gave out.. and so on.. this was a few months ago and i just didnt want to deal with the headache and just got something else and will just consider the 8 as a future project for myself
**if i paid for the fix it would have cost me more than just replacing the engine with a new one is what he told me
