This is the third thread you've made spelling it "breaks".

4 lug nuts, 4 bolts, & 2 screws...19mm, 12mm, & Phillips. Good luck getting the screw out. You should really invest into an impact driver, not an impact wrench but an impact driver...

na i just got back from getting the pads and break fluid and what have you so i havent even started yet. im still trying to see about the rears, as far as the ebrake and what not go. the front i can deal with and figure out a way to compress the pistons, but the back im still a little unsure of.

lolol, "Break" fluid. It's very easy, man. Just put the pads back in the same way you'll pull them out.

do not top off the fluid before you press the pistons back in, if you do it might cause fluid to leak out of the reservoir.

Also the :

REAR pistons twist back in
FRONT pistons push back in

Lol at the dude squeezing the piston back in with vice grips.

I use my fingers or a caulking gun thing to compress the piston. Or a c clamp.

I never thought changing the brakes on my maxima would be easier than a teg...Bet my Porsche calipers and Land Rover were easier than a Maxima. I don't know why every manufacturer doesn't produce a aluminum monoblock with a drop-in brake pad. Takes seconds to change pads.

Agreed. I know my STi doesn't have a true monoblock design, but the drop-in pads are a cinch.
