budget is a biggie here...$8k K series vs $5k H series (done right)

I love my H but if i was "cheif lots o dough" i would have a K in a minute!

Actually less than double because you'd still need a b-series transmission for your longblock.

i would go with the h22. even if you got the 220hp rated k20, you are talking about twice the price for 20 more horsepower. on the other hand, the k20 is better for boosting than the h22. the h22 is hit or miss. i have heard people pushing 16lbs on a stock h22 but i personally knew a guy that rode around on 7lbs for a year, pushed it up to 9lbs and blew it in a day. i also knew a guy with a k20 that boosted his with 16lbs and used it as a daily driver and had no problems. if you plan on boosting, spend the extra money and get a k20 but if you are going na, go with the h22

I'd go with a h22, alot cheaper and alittle less power. A h2b would be better :D.

I've seen some N/a h22 hondas get into 11's.. I'm assuming this is going into a civic?

get a Dseries and boost it, if it blows, but another one. Cheap also

Just get a B-series ls or B20 then work your way up the ladder ls-vtec or B20vtec then after some time start considering something like a K to jump from a D to a K is some serious business IMO

h22 are better to boost the k20 doesn't have a good oil pump.

i would choose the H22 over the K20 for the liitle reason of less difficulty and a lot of K20 swaps ive seen don't come out too well (because of installers) but also the H22 is ahellofalot cheaper and performs great. gl with whichever you choose!
