WOW. Thanks for the threads brother. For those who don't want to become dumber by following the links, here are the highlights. Some of it is funny, most of it pisses me off.


Hey guys i got some questions and stuff for sale.

First off i want to know about upgrading my radiator, ive seen on some altimas that they have a radiator butt with the fans on outside and not inside , i wanted to know what the exact purpose of that was, also

My dad insist on asking me why i want to upgrade this car, and swears he can beat me, he said hat soon he is going to take me to the track so he can beat me..... In his KIA Optima lol, inline 4 .. i told him unless hes sport shifting i highly doubt that, but at the same time that car actually runs quick but even then i think ill take him on.
He also always tells me i am going to blow a piston out my mufler, lol, because i like to go fast or because i rev my engine sometimes at a light to get others attention.Views on blowing a piston please!

Another thing is i want to get some toks and some springs that will bring down the car some so its lower to the ground which i believes help with areodynamics and gravirty and sh***. views on that, like if that will help.

Another thing is, i want to tune my car like get gears changed so it over all better performs, question is how do i do that, i know it has something to do with ecu. like when i get bigger injectors cams and pulleys and what not, then i want to know how/where i can get the car tuned.?


Also if anyone has any of the stuff bellow for sale please let me know, i am looking for performance cams, bigger injectors, performance pulleys, headers, fuel pump, fuel regulator, performance radiator, ugh suspension, springs and struts, cv joint right side..

Also i have for sale or trade, mini camera. color with sound that can be used like a back up cammera or whatnot, its really small like size of thumb and mounts perfectly on the middle screw on back bumper OE bumper. and i have cables that run threw back of trunk to wherever you want it to go. Hey Thik what you want and yeah i like to drift... Alot and race,, butt anyway thanks i will check that stuff asap, as of right now its not the manifold gaskets.


Well the thing is i bought a universal performance kit 56 bucks at local auto parts., which comes with only one hole/hose for the top of engine. butt then i thought about just poking a hole in the plastic extension tube it came with so the vacuum line has air.. after i get the maf adapter i will just have to n***** rig it.. (im not racist just a term down here) any way, i heard if you poke a hole in metal piping of the intake it kind of sounds like you have a turbo. But for me that won't be necessary as i have a t28 turbo i need to install, i got the turbo and wastegate, oil line and some manifold piping for just 220! works great to.


question. its going to sound dumb but. do you have to intercool the turbo? or can you have it without the intercooler. And i would jerry rig it for now but as i think of it i am going to leave the stock tubing it has and just cut the pipe so i can fit it after the stock pipe for now.


Because i want to install the turbo and headers but i do not have enough money for intercooler and piping and stuff. so i was thinking about just installing the turbo and intercooling it later. Think its an ok idea?


well your right there is alot of things involved,, thats why my friend is here to help as well as his father, trust me im not that dumb to try and install this all on my own, ive got professionals. im not that dumb!

ah yes percisely!, by the way do you think it is a good idea to put bigger injectors, also will my transmition be affected by the turbo, some people are saying i need to rebuil my transmission butt i do not really want to do that,, any way i will not be running the turbo hard so?


i know they are alot of threads about upgrades, i know all about upgrades, i just wanted to know those quick things, and yeah i am planning to upgrade raiator, and while im at it i will have the fans in the front, also i know altimas are inline four i just said inline four because those optimas come v6 so i was establishing the type of engine he has in it against mine so some doesnt ask (what type of engine he got in it)

also im prob not going to worrry about gears, maybee pulleys later, and i heard something about sacraficing the way car idles, butt maybee i will just stick with a stage two cam nothing to drastic. i said injectors because i plan on going boost soon, maybee by end of year hopefully.

LOL , yeah Asleep prob would get mad, butt ugh im knowledgable on that stuff as i have been reading and what not, Asleep sounds very knowledgable on these cars so i usually look for threads hes been in.

I forgot, yes i plan on driving 100 MPH + nothing but interstates and highways around were i live, especially turnpike which is 70mph wich allows for easy 100 MPH+.\

And figure of speech as for blowing a piston out mufler, butt i dont have to worry about running at high rpms im AUTOMATIC.

True that, ive done quite a bit of reaserch but i know i need to read more sh***. I understand what your saying about buying things twice, its just when i type some things i forget about others.. and its late as FU*** and im tired to, anyway, theres so many things i need to do , and i just need to go easy, i have some turbo things right now, i mean i could go turbo tonight if i wanted to but i know im not ready for it yet and i need to do things like shocks, paint, internal on the motor,and i want to fix some interior things. thats why im selling those two turbos and intercoolers and stuff. i had the bov and piping butt my friend bought it off me already, he actually took my boost controller and my turbo manifold...

anyway thats why im going turbo next year or late this year.. My peers were persuading me to save an ass load of money and go twin turbo ( coming from people who dont know about this car) I say it cant be done...Simply because i think this engine cannot handle it, unless it is fully rebuilt. Even then i think if the car could handle it that the Bluebird sss would have came twin turbo..lol,, anyway thats something for the books if i ever go twin..

reason im working on this car s because i like to suprize people, when they say look at that FWD alti it stands no chance,, then they line up and race and get there ass wooped in whatever car they have. for example mustangs, stealths, 240's, so i decided to work on this car. plus i like the look of it, and the car had only cost me 800 about 4 years ago. so im willing to fix this baby up and keep it and give it to my sons.later down the road when i have some.

as for the 5 speed swap, then i have to do an ass load of work unless i can get it done for me, for really cheap,, thats one thing i dont want to do.. that and a RWD conversion.

i already have all that stuff i just decided to sell it, i had a turbo cast manifold, and i sold it,, i had alot of stufff for the turbo biuld butt am deciding to do it later this year towards december.. so im buying regular upgrades,, like Headers. and selling my turbo pieces.. hence all the stuff i have for sale..
i bought alot of things used and for good price, but i want to do a complete kit from turbotronics, or greddy,, good brand name,, a kit that cost maybee around 1200 or so... that includes everything i need.

Thats why i got headers, and thats why im getting non turbo parts for now.

im not that clueless i understand what im doing and most of what i need.

i also understand i cant just go turbo over night, and cant just pop it on.

so thats why im waiting,, december ill have more time, and my mechanic friend coming from the Army to help me.
