I purchased a CANON DSLR a few months back. I have been shooting with the kit lens and I trying to decide what to buy next. I am debating in between getting a 50mm f1.8 II lens or an external flash.

Let me know what you guys think! Thanks! :goodjob:

P.S. I am going to be volunteering at church taking pictures at their vacation bible school.

edit: but keep your eyes peeled- the 50 can be had for pretty cheap on craigslist. but be wary of the craigslist clowns asking more than you can buy it at showcase for. :rolleyes:
