View Full Version : too much gas...not boostin rite

ok so wen i 1st turn on my car it runs perfect i take on ppl....for only 5mins which im still in my neighborhood...it starts to sputter ALOT rpm stays between 500 and 1000 up and down in neutral...it starts to clog up at around 4k and my boost aint comin in like is supose to...it feels like its got way too much gas goin into it...at the light white smoke(gas) comes out the downpipe...someone told me it was spark plugs...put new ones and same shiet...someone else told me it was the rotor in the dizzy wich i aint tried yet...if yall have any idea what it could be preciate all the advise yall can giv out

check if you got any boost leaks on your intercooler piping.....

has it been tuned? any cel? has it run correctly before and this just started recently?

okay nah it aint bin tuned yet and yea i kno i need to do that...it got cel cause vtec aint wired and o2 aint connectd that as far as i kno why cel is on...i was runnin it for a month with no problems...i started with a chipped gsr ecu and then switchd to a chipped ls and it ran better...i did a oil change and thats when it fucked up rite after it backfired in 4th...

White smoke is usually not fuel.

--also, i'm not too familiar with honda engines, but make sure you have your plugs gapped correctly. If you don't have your plugs correctly gapped it can cause a misfire, such as the one you had in 4th.
