ok well sense the guy has torqued my arps to 100 ft lbs that only needed to be torqued to 85 as arp said i ve been having some problems. well the next day i had someone check my torque specs because the guy off of here that did it didnt even use a torque wrech because he said he worked at acura in gwinnet and remembered the specs by hand. well i think he messed up mt head gasket or something by doing it that tight and me having someone to fix it. could this be why my car keeps running hot?

could it be because my block is brand new or a blown head gasket? car doesnt smoke or have water in the oil i need to figure this out so i can put a hundred more miles on my car and get it tuned
so someone else put on the head for you? maybe he put the headgasket in backwards blocking the cooling passage
is your thermostat working?

no thermostat is in it. but the guy used a breaker bar to torque my head down. i ve talked to scotty, blue ridge and a few other placees. blue ridge said he prolly cracked my head by doing it that tight.

damn that sucks. the guy using the breaker might have tightened it more than 100lb. hes gonna pay for it?
