was a pain in the butt...

But i got it figured out. I just wanted to let some anger out.

Anyone else had this problem? Vista sucks so bad. I hate it.

i just hate that if you have to fart, vista asks you if its ok...

i know you can turn that off with the user access control, but still.. vista just takes a lot out of the machine.

Leopard FTMFW. OSX is so much fucking smoother than ANY windows iteration I've ever used.

Vista and XP operate standy and hibernation differently, some computers aren't easily backwards compatible.. and XP drivers are hard as hell to find for some laptops.

windows 7 = windows vista. I switched to Leopard, my buddy has Snow Leopard and it is SO smooth. I will probably never switch back

i have never messed with a mac, but is osx86 fairly easy to get a copy of like win xp? a pirate version that is.

i will say 7 is extremely nice.

but as to the vista vs xp.

each version of xp i have ever used on my desktop, laptop, 32 or 64 bit has always given me crashing issues. upgraded all my comps to vista, 32 and 64 dependin on the comp and everything has run alot smoother, no crash's etc.

im not the guy to go into settings and mess around with this and that to cause this either. So i dunno what it is. Guess vista just works for some, but not for most

As much as i do hate msoft, ive bee running rc1 for a few days and its great with the exception of a few small flaws. its WAYYYYY faster than vista, very much like xp pro speeds with a better interface.

i actually, just for shi^s and giggles loaded it on an old laptop only having 502mb ram. runs great and stable. Win 7 is as lean a XP but prettier than vista.

Well within a few days of installing Windows 7 RC, i get a BSOD on boot and its in rebooting loop. Its always nice to have to format within literally 3-4 days of install.
