I know it has a Diablo as a base but i can't remember who did the body work.
When i was at the museum in 2007, there was only a drawing of it.

Strosek has done a lot of Diablo's but I'd have to see the headlights to know if it was one of theirs...

Don't think so. The Affolter cars all share similar rear end body work with wing.
I'll admit though.....I always liked the Affolter and Reiter Lamborghinis.

Lambo-talk?Yeah, I crack up at the things people say on there...it's like a whole different world. Then you have the complete idiots that don't, and will never, own a Lamborghini saying Paul Daltons $9,000 detail is a ridiculous waste of money and rich people are fools and they can do the same job themselves with at home with an over the counter wax and polish.

Now that we know what it is...I want to share the Diablo Coatl. It came to mind when I saw the other car in the first picture. I think this thing is godawfully ugly...looks like something from Alien vs. Predator. Can't believe how much has been done to the car, and it's certainly striking. I bet it'd be a huge hit in Dubai.

Oh yes it does. If i were Stephan Winkelmann, i'd call a court case to have it debadged or destroyed.

http://www.miracledetail.co.uk/index-video.htmlDealer cost of a clutch install is $7,000 on a Diablo. An independant shop averages $5,000... $3,500-4k for the clutch and $1k-1,500 for the labor.
I joined after seeing the thread about the guy with minimal engine experience rebuild his Countach V12 in his home garage.

For many of the examples, you're right.
On the other hand, a few of them are pretty well done.
In modern times, I really don't like most of the modern Murcialago and Gallardo tuners.

I followed the build when the first bit of info on it came out many months ago. I was actually interested on what real Lamborghini owners thought of it.

yea that would be a thought, but the shear work that it gone into this is immense, i love it, i want to do something similar oneday, i bet some owners that bought the lambo just for the name would get angry, but those that buy them for the work, and machinery, and effort put into it would also appreciate this home build

I'm not really a fan of kit cars but i am astonished at the work he put into that car. Really impressive and i'd be proud to admit that it isn't a real Lamborghini.
To GKTib: Go Russian Lamborghini Murcialgo team in the ELMS ;)
But its the JLOC that is running the R-GT at the 2009 Le Mans.
