background info- 92 civic hatch,ls motor, b16 tranny

so in my quest to straighten out this godforbidden car, i find that despite the fact that i've replaced and been running a b16 axle on the passenger side of my car, they do not make a b16 axle (from autozone) that fits the driver side of my car. the axle i pulled out has the male end of the spline shaft(mid-shaft side), but all the ones me and homeboy behind the counter went through, had the female end :thinking:

AZ axle-file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/Mike/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/moz-screenshot-2.jpghttp://contentinfo.autozone.com/znetcs/product-info/en/US/adi/8063N/image/8/

so we pulled out a bunch of different integra axles, and the splines on the wheel side all stopped halfway down the shaft, BUUUUUT mine havesplines all the way down:thinking::thinking::thinking:

you see my issue, anyone know of any axle that will work or maybe some half-ass diy attempt gone wrong?

this is why im an electrician

so the car is a 92-95 civic? and on the axle that you pulled out has male splines? and the half shaft is female? if so, buy an axle from a 90-93 integra RS.

cable transmission use a halfshaft that is female, and uses an axle that is male splined. hydro's use a half shaft that is male and the axle is femaled splined. you can use either set on your car, and whoever used the cable transmission pair, everything will work fine either way.
