Just goes to show that other scenes are just as innovative as the Honda scene, if not more...

and honestly, I have become disgusted with the Honda scene and mostly because of the lack of comraderie...I mean I know that every scene has their assholes...but it seems like Honda guys have just gotten out of control with the judging and downing of fellow enthusiasts...You know..Rota vs "Jdm" wheels, real parts vs fake...it's all crap...You see the WRX guys rocking Rotas all day and they don't give a fuck...and granted, I'm sure everyone, given having the means to have top tier baller shit, would buy the baller shit but not everyone has the means to do so....some people, like myself, are lucky enough to but some aren't...and I don't see the need or reason behind knocking on someone for what they have when they share the same passion that you do...

I wouldnt buy another set of Rotas...BUT...if it had not been for my Rotas I wouldnt have these Weds I have now. I have seen alot of rotas fucked up before that actually didnt get hit by anything and had a friend order some rotas brand new and they were so bent they couldnt even hold air. I wont talk shit to someone for buying them if thats what they like.

I'm sure Rotas have their fair share of issues because they are mass produced wheels and anything that is mass produced is bound to be inconsistent in quality however, I've seen and heard of issues with HRE and IForged which are some of the most ridiculously overpriced and flashy wheels on the market today.....and those are hand assembled, made to order type wheels...

I don't think it's so much the quality or name brand of the parts being used that's killing the scene, as so many people would like to think...it's the attitude behind these so called real deal "jdm" parts that is killing the scene...Oddly enough, you don't see the Japanese jocking each other over our domestic parts and another thing...A lot of these so called "JDM" co's outsource the manufacture of their parts to other countries...Like Tein for example...I've heard from quite a few reliable sources that as suspension goes in Japan, Tein is basically like a WalMart brand there....I think it's hilarious that people are breaking their banks and maxing out their credit cards for JDM cred when half the parts they are buying don't even get cred in Japan..

I agree man....people half the time dont even research what they are getting. They just get it cause its FAWKIN JAY DE EM DOOD lol. Ill admit I used to want all kinds of JDM goodies....and still do somewhat...just because SOME of their parts are better.
As far as the wheels go, I havent seen/heard anything about those 2 companys BUT...I know a guy who got some wheels from 360 forged and they sent the wrong offset, wrong tires, wheels are scratched, carbon fiber is coming off, and they kept feeding him BS about when they were getting done. I hear that company is in some trouble anyway right now.

Personally I don't really give a fuck what other people think about my car as far as looks, parts or anything else goes. If i like it imma gonna do it, because i like it, not because its "JDM" or the "in" thing. I LOVE cars and i will ALWAYS love em. Old school, new school, Actual JDM straight from Japan, Or whatever. I have a love and passion for the scene and nothing will ever change the way i feel about it. I used to have a WRX and it was pretty much stock on the outside but I rocked it so hard. If someone didn't like it I said ok thats good for you, Its not your car either. There is a reason they call it "custoomization". As far as the Honda scene goes, I have noticed how a lot of guys are really big DICKS about it. "Thats not a real MUGEN valve cover" or that car is RICE. Fuck teh haters, fuck whomever thinks their shit don't stink. They don't bother me one bit!!!!!!!!!!!
