recommended or not recommended..because right now my car lags a bit during take off...stutters im going to change out the intake filter and see if it could be that..any other clues or ideas?

no when was your last tune up and what did it include.

figured out the problem or part of it...took the intake off drove with it off and stuttering went away lol.

but the last tune up/kinda if you wanna call it that was about a month and a half ago...lol

spark plugs, wires, oil change, oil filter...bout all i could afford and did.. =/

double check your timing. might be off a lil.

Need to also check the cap and rotor button for excessive gap or corrosion.

I'm lost on the last post can u explain a lil better pleasehe means the gap between the rotor button an the contact point in the cap. its hard to check the gap. corrosion is easy. just easier to replace.

if you took the filter off and the stutter prob went away then its prob your air filter... might wanna clean it or get a new one. no air = shitty performance
