This is a for sale thread for my 2006 Honda S2000 with just under 49,000 miles. The asking price is $22,999. Serious offers entertained; lowball offers will be summarily ignored.
Overall the car is in 9.9/10 condition. I have owned the car since day one and it has been care for since day one by me. This is my second S2000 and I am really just considering different options outside of turning the car back in after a lease. There is nothing wrong with the car, it has had 0 accidents (accident free) and is primarily stock. The car has been serviced by Honda dealerships only and I have all service receipts.
There are most if not all of the modifications:
- Eibach lowering springs (lowered approximately 1.2 inches) (stock shocks)
- BBS LM wheels in 18 225-40-18 (18x8+50)front and 265 -35-18 (18x9.5+55) rears tires are 80% tread in front and about 20% in rear. BF goodrich G force ta kdw Non-traditional tread design.
- OEM Honda front lower lip spoiler
- Front and rear H badges changed to S badges from Rick's limited buy
- interior color swap from all black to partial tan from a 2005 GPW S2000 (carpet, center console cover, mats, door panels)
- Alpine ixda 2000 with full speed ipod interface
- s pods (rollbar speakers) with addition 4x6 speakers with Rockford Fosgate 2 channel amp power
- Hardwired custom install Escort ZR-3 laser shifter system (this works quite well)
- Hardwired custom install Rocky Mountain Radar C450 radar/laser detector
- rolled and modified rear wheel fenders to accommodate aggressive fitment wheels
- 35 % sides and 25% rear tint

- I still have the tonneau cover that came with the vehicle as well as the original head unit if a potential buyer prefers that.

Everything under the hood is 100% stock and has been since it rolled off the factory floor. The car is as reliable, quiet, and dependable as it has been since day 1 and has no mechanical issues whatsoever.

The car will not be parted out in any way, fashions, or form, so please don’t ask me to separate the wheels or anything else from the vehicle. The car drives well with no vibrations or disturbances whatsoever. All mechanics work optimally, including a/c, heat, top motor, lsd, etc. There are no issues with the vehicle. The only reason I am considering selling is to increase my number of options from simply returning the vehicle at lease end or purchasing.

Questions can be answered here as well as private messaging me. If you would like to speak with me, I will provide my cell number via private message. Thanks for reading and any interest.

The car pictures below are the vehicle with the exceptions of:
The additional rollbar speakers are not pictured covered in tan leather
The car no longer has the lip protector (small piece of metal attached to the underside of the lip spoiler)

Thanks RevMaynard, you are correct. I did a swap on some of the interior parts. I sold much of the original interior parts, but still have the original carpeting and mats in black.

The BBS with the mixed tan interior is :idb: :idb: :idb:

the Rick's badges make the car look so much cleaner for some reason

someone will be very happy with this AP2, wish I could get it

I have gotten a few questions about the car, so I figured I would address them here:

This is an AP2. It has the 2.2 liter engine with the 8200 rpm redline. So if you are looking to sail to 9k, this isn't your car. Having owned an AP1 prior to this, I will tell you that this car is more powerful and the lower redline is worth it because of the increased torque and power available at an earlier stage.

2006 S2000s differ from 2004-2005 in a few ways. Most notable is the VSA or Vehicle Stability assist feature. This is similar to a traction control and works to keep the driver of the vehicle safe. When the sensors detect uncontrolled wheel spin, VSA intervenes and cuts power to the wheel that has lost apparent traction. If you prefer to not use this feature it can be fully and completely disabled. (You must disable it whenever you start the vehicle and want it off, as the vehicle always defaults to it being on.) I will say it is amongst the least intrusive systems on the market and really lets the driver get away with a good bit before it will cut in and do anything. Another small feature is the passenger seat airbag sensor- if no one is sitting in the seat, the airbag defaults to off position.

Also, the seat design differed greatly from earlier models. The 2006+ seats do not have the "helmet" cut out. Having owned an AP1, again, I can tell you this is a feature I prefer on the newer cars. Occasionally, the wind blowing on your neck would get annoying, and that is simply not an issue with this car.

The 2006+ cars come from the factory with 4 rollbar tweeters. Honestly, as these are tweeters, they don't add too much lowrange and midrange sound, but with the current setup in the car (4x6s installed inside of the rollbars) the car sounds much more satiating than a stock sound system. A nice perk in the cumulative sense.

Do you have the Pro-kit or sportline springs?

Pro kit is what I have. The spring rates are fairly close to AP1 as far as I know. The ride is firm and communicative, just like it should be.
