OK. So my car got impounded, I STILL havent found a job yet so I have no money. Guess what has to happen... I have to find Keke a new home. Ok, a little background.

I bought her from a friend 2 1/2 years ago, a 1991 Civic DX. The motor had 200,000+ and smoked like hell.

Over the next year I installed alot of stuff as well as made changes here and there... So now, here is what we are left with:

Keke's current motor... D16z6 with roughly 40,000 miles on it. The car has been converted to OBD1, all you need is an ecu. The ecu I have been using has been returned to my other Civic. No knocks or anything. There are a few people on this forum who can vouch for that.

I cleaned and touched up the bay just a little bit. Also, the fusebox and headlight wiring on the passenger side has been tucked.

November 2008, I painted the car just to brighten the already faded paint. I did not paint over the rising sun design on the front, so the rising sun is still out front in all its faded glory. (not THAT faded) I do know how to paint and a paint gun was used. No rattle can.

Ok... the bad... well... not really bad... just not so good:

-Not even two hours after putting the new motor in, someone backs into my car, putting a dent in the driver side fender. I popped it out for the most part, but its still there.

-*Sigh* I have no title for the car...

The title that I have been using is for my old hatch. It says "Red 1991 Honda Civic SI" which is what my car look like. Unless you give someone a reason to check the registration, you have nothing to worry about. I have used the same registration for the past 2 years. But still that dosent make it right.

I would much rather sell this car to someone who is going to use it for track purposes. But if you are going to use it as a daily driver, the title I give you should help out. The whole two years I have had the car, I have never gotten a ticket for "swapped or improper tag" ask anyone who knows me how much bad luck with cops I have... or better yet, ill show you the 2400$ restitution i have to pay back, FROM TICKETS (which is why im selling the car, that and i have a baby on the way.)

ANYWAY...

Im setting the price at 1200 OBO. I really dont want to get rid of my baby... but i have to do something.

PM me offers. Thanks. Bump when you check it out.

If you need anymore pics let me know. I can try and get to the impound yard and take more. Thanks... (the car runs, just needs and ecu, i took the ecu out at the impound lot, i can get one for people who are serious.)

Gonna need a VIN. The actual car VIN, not the one on the false title you've been using.

Long story short: Yes it is lost.

Long story long: I was in need of a car to get to and from work. My buddy was letting it go and I jumped on it not thinking. He said that he was going to get the title from the old lady he bought it from and she moved before he could get to her. I have been trying to find her, apply for lost title, everything i could think of. Eventually I gave up and just started using my title and registration from my old hatch that i ended up parting out and selling the shell to a guy i knew that had a scrap metal yard (after i told him why i needed the title and ish, he let me keep it).

I am located in Montgomery Alabama.

i wasnt able to get to the lot due to the rain. im looking for the bill of sale i got when i purchased it. lets shoot for no later than this weekend because its supposed to rain tomorrow.
