Not the fastest thing on the road but back in South Africa its all about fuel economy. We have a shitload of 1.0l, 1.3l, 1.5l cars on the road. 2.0l's are considered fast by normal terms there so these were crazy compared to the norm and even crazier when modded.

So about the same, but with inflation its much harder to survive there let alone splurge on stuff. Basic things are very expensive. There are however a lot of rich people but just as many if not more struggling families.
