I bought my 4 door Civic about 4 months ago and wasnt really concerned about the ac until it got hot lol. So i put mor refrigerant into it and still nothing. All it does it blow hot air. A guy at work said that it might be the relay, fuse or the pressure switch. But have no clue to where any of those are. My abe my brain is having a huge brain fart but im so lost right now. Can someone please give me a sugestion to see if i can get it cooling agian. Any other info on it please ask and i will do my best at answering. Thanks

The compressor or condensor, is the pully on the car (for some reason i thought you didn't have power steering).

I don't think the compressor is coming on but wouldn't the ac pressure switch screw with that, if it gets seized up it won't let the compressor cut on?

Do the fans come on w/ ac switch on?
Does it leak?
Does the compressor cycle on/off?
If if has pressure, do any of the lines get outragously hot/freeze?

Replace the Drier, Vacuum the system out and recharge...

It doesn't leak, not sure if the compressor cylcles. Thefan comes on and the lines are good. How much is a dryer and how would I vacumm the lines out?

driers are like 30$, and you need a vac pump to suck all the shit outta the lines, but you will need some pag oil, so you can relubricate everything....

cant you pull and jump the low pressure switch from one wire to the other to see if it will cycle? and some times you have to have a certain amount before it will kick on.
