the second one has much better editing, visuals, camera work.

Driving skill IMO was about the same in both

I've noticed alot of people hating on the second vid because of the slo mo but think it adds to it. I think its better minus the water balloons/paintball bits.

Meh, the new STi looks and sounds like poo....

Some of the slow-mo shots were cool....but it was over done.

Video 1 was more original, the car looked better, the car sounded better, it was more raw....video 2 seems to be try-hard.

I think the second was way better in technical driving skills and in the production of the video. The runs he did right by the water stepped it up a lot from the last video IMO.

The first video was/is a classic, but the second was great also. The water shot and bulbs are amazing. Nice find sir!

The first one was much less edited and much more fly by the seat of your pants. You can see the many, many takes they took to get the second one right by the large amount of rubber on the ground VS the first one where they didn't take near as much film. The first one had some surefire screw-ups that they edited out so you didn't see him smash parts on his car.

Both were good. The first one was more raw and unpracticed.

2nd video was Hard work as was the first, but the 2nd much more enjoyable. Editing is supposed to add to the effect and it did.

i'm gonna go with i liked the 2nd vid better. i mean the driving was about the same, but i like the course layout better. seems a bit more technical.

and for those hating saying it was more practiced. well, of course it was, both of them were. he was having to shoot thru a course as fast as he could to achieve the fastest time. its what a gymkhana is . its expected for them to practice so they will get the layout of the course so he doesn't put an end to the car. i mean, fuck, its recommended they learn the course before going for the fastest time.

the paintball wasn't as bad as it seems IMO, although i see why they did it bu it could have been left out. it was the same as the first one with the guy on the little 2 wheels scooter or whatever. he was just doing doughnuts around him, but this time had a guy shooting the windshield. the waterballoon and light tubes, that was pretty cool, it gave it a more visual effect, to me.
