Anyone ever remove their alternator from the engine bay? What are some ways or tips that i can use as guideline? This is coming from a 91 crx.

According to the book it is easy. Just unbolt and lift up.

Well according to others. Unbolt, remove drives drive shaft then lower alternator out.

Do it the easy way. Unbolt alternator, push up and out of the way.

Unbolt alternator bracket and then lower alternator out of the bottom of the car.

This is the way I have been doing it for years. The bracket gives you just the little bit extra clearance you need.

I actually never did an alternator on a b-swap ef before. While I was still running my d, i was able to lift it up between the intake manifold and master cylinder. I doubt you will be able to do that now, so your best bet is using Richard's way.

I was able to do this the same way with the b series in my hatch.

I've done it a couple times & even after taking the alternator bracket off, pulling it out from underneath wasn't working so I just take off the fuel rail & pull up at a certain angle & bam!
