Here is my newly lowered GN (new wheels too)
specs;
Front 20x8.5, 245/35-20. Bell tech spindles and 1" drop spring w/ KYB shocks.
Rear is 20x10 w/ 275/30-20 and 2" drop coil w/ a coil removed, KYBs and a rear disc conversion. Its no corner carver, but I just like to cruise it (and spin tires a little!!)
Engine (because someone will ask) 3.8 turbo stock block and heads, TE44 turbo, 3" DP, 2.5" stainless duals, upgraded fuel pump, 42 # injectors, chipped. Running low boost until I replace valve springs in a month or so.
The car has new carpet, mats, seat covers, dash cover, and trim pieces. I want it stock inside just real clean, and simple outside.
Thats pretty much it for now.

By our Japanese "standards" it is. The GN started in 1982 (if I remember right) so it is considered in. To me it seems that with the history of American cars, it's still too modern, but I'd probably go with a maybe; leaning more into yes.
Beautiful car, too. I love it. Later, QD.

You are right GNs started in '82 (but they sucked...84 went to all blk, and slow hot air set up...then in 86,87 you had intercooled turbo set up. I drove this car in 1988, and told the guy I wanted it when he got rid of it. I picked it up a while back and its been sittin. Finally got movin on it.

I dont like the wheels but I think muscle cars need certain wheels to make them look great....too me your car fits in the muscle category...

I think it's bad freaking ass. Wheels and all. I like the wheels because they aren't gay ass chrome or some polished billet bullshit. And you went with a Torque Thrust....or TQ style. Very nicely done.
Great car. Rock on.

These boys that don't like the wheels are "straight retarded" in a boston accent.
The stance is perfect, the wheels are perfect, and the car is rad. I hope you'll do some work and throw some bad ass brakes on there because I drove one for a week a few years ago and the most thrilling part of the ride was trying to get that bitch to slow down after you haul ass.
Love it man. Wish it was mine. Want a bricklin ? :)

Maybe a size or two smaller with the wheel choice but it is very awesome and super clean.

Thanks all, It is a handful to stop, so big brakes are on the list...the rear drum to disc conversion helped some, but the type of brake system (OEM powermaster) is BS, I am going to straight hydrolic and larger calipers and rotors.
Again, thx fellas!
Whats up Rut!!

I could, but not likely, w/ sticky tires 11s are not out of the question...but I just have it to cruise and enjoy. I waited 20 years for this car...not a GN...THIS GN. (I drove this car in 1987...I wanted this exact car...long story) I will keep it clean and it'll get beat a little, but I am not chasing HP#s or time slips. I have friends w/ them running 8s...so why abuse it to get from 11.99 to 11.00. I am way behind either way. :P
I'll let you guys set the bar for speed, I am more of a style guy.

I'm just saying 50's are a better fit for your set-up. Not saying to go crazy. I still consider mine a cruiser too :goodjob:
