Term comes from back in the 40's to 60's when Lead was actually used as filler on the cars before Bondo type fillers came out. I am using the term to insinuate my car is heavy like the "lead sleds" from back in the day...So proper use of a hot rod term=win. Calling someone out and looking like a fool=fail...we cool?:lmfao:

Does it matter? He's posting his very nice cobra. It weighs more than most cars on this site except the GTOs, camaros, etc.
Looks mean, man! I miss my '95 GT. I'm guessing around 375-400whp, judging by the video/visible mods?

im guessing 425-440, cant see the side of the motor to get a judge of heads, and more bolt ons!

The car is dropped, Its just not slammed. Has Eibach Prolines on it. Believe me they look like 4x4's on the stock springs. I would love to drop it more for the looks but the more it goes down the more it hurts straight line launch traction. Also where it is right now I already drag the undercarriage on every speed bump and whatnot I drive over. Maybe ill drop it a little more one day but for now it will stay there. Ill be getting some fatter tires and 18 inch rims on it before I drop it more.

Well since its a 302, if its stock block, which i would doubt. Then just say a Twisted Wedge set-up, cam, lifters, full exhuast, intake, TB, injectors, and a dyno tune, maybe a clutch he would make around 350rwhp. So that plus that procharger even at 6-8psi would put him into the mid low 4**'s!

I would but it needs a paint job first before the expensive detailing happens to it. It still shines pretty nice but I just did a fast rinse before I took those pics...But it does need some new spray on it...would look much better!

Yea that is most definitely a lead sled! I love the chop tops. And that wasn't a residential area I was hauling ass in, it was an area that all the dealerships take there fast cars on test drives at, its an old commercial area. I wouldn't do that in a neighborhood.

Mine does much more then a straight line, I love the misconception that all mustangs are crappy around corners, I can get down in the corners too. It may not weigh 2000 pounds like some other cars do but it does just fine hitting the bends. Not to mention on the streets you spend 99% of you time going straight :lmfao:Not racing around corners.
