Just got a cheap 90amp flux welder to do some exhaust work and small around the house projects.
I know its not the best,or the welds wont look good. But it will be wrapped in heatwrap,so not concerned.

Will it hold up to the exhaust temps? for Turbo Downpipe and exhaust itself?

info on it.
# Input: 115 volt, 15 amp, single phase
# Welding current (2 settings) 63 to 68 amps (low), 79 to 90 amps (high)
# Duty cycle: 10% @ 80 amps, 18% @ 60 amps

lol yes.
your welding man.
melting metal into metal
it will hold up to exhaust temps
just make sure you have the right wire for what your welding on

like normal exhaust manifolds are cast iron usually
cant just weld em with steel wire

i just recently got my own welder like that
tho ive been welding for a lil bit.

Good damn luck with flux, its very hard to get penetration with them. Most of the time it just looks like bird shit and doesn't actually penetrate the two pieces at all. If your welder came with a regulator, please get a co2/argon mix and mig wire, gas shielding welds so much better, even though with a low amp welder penetration still may be a concern.

I Ive seen better penetration with fluxcore than with mig on my shitty machine
i can do exhaust stuff all day with flux core
but not much thicker than that
