I've had no problems with mine although I haven't had it that long. I've heard they have transmission problems down the road... the window motors break, small stuff like that but overall the vq is a great motor

I hear '03s have a couple of issues that were resolved in the '04s.

I've heard this too, but have encountered NO problems with mine. Maybe luck, but I think it's a solid car regardless... and the 03's are so much cheaper.

Well, you would think that they are cheaper because people hear about their problems. But if you haven't had any issues then that is awesome.

But doesn't swapping the wheels get rid of tire feathering? I haven't had that problem since new wheels + alignment. So far, at least lolol

Possibly. Maybe it's because I'm cheap, but I'd rather gamble on the minor issues they are known to have with the money saved. And I know I'm just lucky, because most everyone else has these problems. Might just be a matter of time... but on a budget, you can't beat it.

i found early on through research that along w/ the tire feathering issue, which was a recall, and if ure car wasn't serviced for it, u can do it. There's an issue w/ the tps..the second day i had my Z..it went into limp mode, and through research i found that it's a common issue in the nissan world...grinds n 5th, heard horrible stories about their trannys..but that comes w/ the territory..buying a sports car, so..gotta put some things in perspective.
