Sat. at PDK Airport 2:55 PM GT2 vs modded Z06 vs R8

My neighbor will be racing his GT2 down the runway in a special 50th anniversary of the Army Airforce. The only entrance for the public is from Clairmont I believe and it's normally a mad house event so get there at least an hour early or more to see it. Expect a fun atmosphere, great food at the Tavern and other stuff. I'm not sure if there is a fee to get in but IIRC there is not.

From what I heard it will be his 997 GT2 vs a modded Z06 (600hp+) and or a ZR1 vs R8 from a standing start in the 1/2 mile.

No other cars will be in on this but I if you want to run the GT2 and you have something interesting (sorry, but pref. something somewhat exotic, no fast beaters) I can arrange that. Some radio DJ is running the modded Z06, one of Jim Ellis' friends is driving the R8 and the owner of the GT2 is very well known in the restaurant and entertainment industry for dining/clubs in Atlanta. So these people have good connections...

It'll probably be on tons of video camera's of families at the event, but bring a camera if you want. It's not really a set up street race but a flag drop and cars going at it so families can go ohh ahh...

Come early though, apparently it took forever to get in the place last year

J/K I'll be at RA for the weekend, but will be interesting to race a GT2 not that I haven't; I ran a couple leaving work but buckhead drivers are not the best in the world
